Day 1 : Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Shillong

On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, transfer to Shillong, often referred to as the ‘Scotland of the East’. En route, visit Umium Lake, a picturesque lake surrounded by lush hills. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 : Shillong Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Shillong by visiting Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden, and Lady Hydari Park. The evening is free for personal activities. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, known for being one of the wettest places on Earth. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Mawkdok Valley, Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthelen Falls, and Arwah Caves en route. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 4 : Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a half-day trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, a unique natural wonder. In the afternoon, visit Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Waterfalls), Mawsmai Cave, Koh Ram Hah, and Ecopark. Return to your hotel for the evening. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 5 : Cherrapunjee – Pobitora National Park

After breakfast, proceed to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its high concentration of one-horned rhinos. The sanctuary is also home to Asiatic Buffalo, Leopard, Wild Bear, and various bird species. Check into your hotel upon arrival. The evening is free for leisure or a nature walk around the park. Overnight stay at Pobitora.

Day 6 : Pobitora National Park – Kaziranga

Early morning, enjoy an elephant safari (subject to availability) in Pobitora. Return to your hotel for breakfast, followed by a jeep safari in the sanctuary. Later, transfer to Kaziranga National Park, famous for its one-horned rhinoceroses. Check into your hotel upon arrival. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 7 : Kaziranga National Park

Early morning, explore Kaziranga National Park on an elephant safari. Apart from rhinos, you may see Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants, and possibly a tiger. The park is also home to various birds and reptiles. Return to your resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in the park and visit Kaziranga Orchid Park. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 8 : Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati, with a visit to Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Nagaon en route. Check into your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, you may opt for a golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (direct payment required). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 9 : Guwahati Local Sightseeing – Departure

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple. Transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: Temple visit timing may depend on your departure time and could be done the previous day.
